Gary: “think big, start small…”

Gary Keller kicked off Mega Agent Camp early this morning with positive words for the more than 3,000 agents prepared to hear him discuss the fundamental models and systems that still apply in this ever-changing market.

Check out what Gary had to say about getting focused on the things that matter most to your business:

Here are some additional highlights:

  • Think BIG, start small. In order to achieve your goals, get to the essence of your professional craft and perfect it.
  • Leads. Listings.Leverage. Until you get those right, everything else is a distraction.
  • Agents are not in the business of real estate but in the business of lead generation.
  • The key to success in this market requires you to ramp up your lead generation so that you take in 30 – 40 percent more listings!
The models haven’t changed in the shift – only the tactics that you take to maintain those models to reach your goals.

  1. Gary good luck this year with the Mega Agent Camp. I work in a great office (La Mesa CA. Market Center) with some superstars! (Shelia, Dave, Chuck, and many others) Take good care of them this week.

I am a fairly new agent and want to say thank you to you for the great work on the MREA book. THINK BIG – AIM HIGH – START SMALL – Great words to build a career by.

Always good to wake up to your words! Looking forward to BOLD!
Thanks for the “Think Small” message!

My Think Small aha echo’s the words of a woman who talked with me when I was a teenager….. She was 60 – really old or so I thought. She was a wise sage and I knew that even then. She was one of the most caring and positive people I had known. When she told me to “live my life in dying order”, I took a step back and felt that was so negative. But now I understand that by living life “small” keeping it focused and intentional, ultimately I can achieve my goals better and faster and that will allow me to discover new goals and charter new territory without unfinished business.

This message takes me back to that message. I use the KW videos you to inspire my team every week. Thank you for all you do.

Gift…..Twitter Tony Robbins…..he has a great 28 minute clip on breaking through the barriers of achievement by gaining certainty!

See you in New Orleans for Family Reunion.

  3. Great insight! Life seems to be overwhelming at times due to all the distractions. It is an art to stay focused and filtered.

    Gary,
Thank you, “think big, start small” is mindset or what I like to think of as a life rule that I have followed most of my life, however as a husband and father embarking on a new career in real estate it’s one rule I haven’t been following lately.

Thank you again for a wakeup call that I badly needed.

    Sincerely,
    John Clark
