Great post, Alexis. Thanks for sharing! Kids really brings focus to financial planning. Just had lunch with a friend and proud new father. We spent half the lunch talking 529 programs...Never would have forecasted that conversation before kids entered the picture!

Great Blog! It made me realize here I am at 60 years old and after raising 5 other children with the youngest 20 yrs old in college. I have gaurdianship of a 2 and 3 year old. It hit me how can I secure their future at my age? I do well in my career but I feel that it won't be enough for their future. Profit sharing is the key and that is my dream to build it to a level that they will be secure in the future.
