Titus and Tobias Bass have been spreading their story and their love to the world one 5K at a time. In fact, their story has become a viral, heartwarming news sensation ever since Tobias wrote his local Oklahoma news outlet to ask his community to help him find a jogging stroller. He didn’t want money, he said, just a stroller so he could push his older brother Titus who has cerebral palsy.
During Keller Williams Realty’s annual Family Reunion in Phoenix, Ariz. The family received a giant push of their own in the form of a $57,456 gift from attendees at the event.
After listening to their story and witnessing the far-reaching power of childhood love during the 15th annual Inspirational Brunch, more than 9,000 real estate professionals dug deep into their hearts and their pockets to give back.
“Titus and Tobias have many more miles to run and many more lives to impact and we are truly honored to be able to give them this amazing gift,” said Keller Williams Realty Vice-Chairman of the Board Mo Anderson.
The money will be held in a special fund for the boys to use toward their training and athletic equipment as they embark on bigger runs and more challenging triathlons. It will also go toward their medical or educational needs in the future.
Thank you to everyone who donated to their special fund! If you missed this year's Inspirational Brunch, watch the video below for the full story - don't forget your tissues!
