We could all learn something from Allan Domb

Ranked the top producing residential real estate broker for the greater part of the past twenty years, Allan Domb and his team control more that 75% of  Center City Philadelphia’s luxury homes market. 

Gary welcomed Allan to the stage today and we walked away with some great bits of his wisdom:

  • “I’m a believer in seeking a niche and becoming the best at it.”
  • “I try to put a dollar value on my activities and focus my time on the ones that are most dollar productive.”
  • “You make a living selling real estate.  You create wealth buying it.”

What do painting and real estate have in common?

Throughout all of Mega Agent Camp, Gary is sharing the stage with Pat Matthews, an Arkansas artist who completes one painting a DAY! Pat has been honing his skill for the past seven years, and in that time has sold almost EVERY one of his paintings - an almost unheard of feat in the world of art.

Gary chatted with Pat about his journey to mastery. “It came through doing a thousand paintings.  When I teach people to paint, I tell them to do two hundred paintings and then come back and we’ll talk about painting.  You can’t just do it. You have to do it over and over again…”

Gary Keller kicked off Mega Agent Camp early this morning with positive words for the more than 3,000 agents prepared to hear him discuss the fundamental models and systems that still apply in this ever-changing market.

  • Think BIG, start small. In order to achieve your goals, get to the essence of your professional craft and perfect it.
  • Leads. Listings.Leverage. Until you get those right, everything else is a distraction.
  • Agents are not in the business of real estate but in the business of lead generation.
  • The key to success in this market requires you to ramp up your lead generation so that you take in 30 – 40 percent more listings!
    The models haven’t changed in the shift – only the tactics that you take to maintain those models to reach your goals.
